Description

The Pansonic Lumix DMC-ZS8 is a compact zoom camera released in 2011. It features a 14 megapixel CCD sensor, a compact 16x zoom, and manual shooting modes. Notably it starts on the wide end of 24mm, which is wider than most compact point and shoots started at. Also the 14mp CCD sensor is one of the newer CCD sensors you can get. The native aspect ratio is 4:3, but like some other compact cameras it has a 3:2 mode that uses more width on the sensor. It does not feature sensor stabilization, but it does feature optical stabilization in the lens. This camera is also called the DMC-TZ18 in other markets.

a great camera! it can have picture size at 4320x3240 with great detail, also has macro modes and 16x optical zoom, which can become 33.8x with digital zoom and 3 megapixels. not the greatest but still cool information.
