Description
The Sony A100 is a 10mp CCD APS-C sensor DSLR released in 2006. It is Sony's first DSLR, and was made in large part due to Sony working with and almost immediately then acquiring Minolta's camera operations. It is very similar to Minolta DSLRs before it, and uses the same mount, making it compatible with Minolta A mount lenses.

Overall rating
I ran this camera when it debuted. I sold it and moved on to Pentax. I bought it again and fell in love again. Much more responsive than I remembered, fun to shoot, and that classic vintage SLR look. With a little work, modified a200 grip, and an M42 lens adapter with a Mir lens... beautiful and fun.
